It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia star and creator Rob McElhenney was at the Orpheum Theater in Los Angeles during Ubisoft’s E3 press conference, where he talked aobut his upcoming new show for Apple TV Plus called “Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet.”

The new series was first revealed last summer although not a lot of information was available. At the time, McElhenney was attached to direct another video-game film adaptation, Minecraft, a project he vacated shortly after.

The live-action comedy series was developed by McElhenney, along with his Sunny comrade Charlie Day and executive producer Megan Ganz.

McElhenney is the lead in the series, supposedly playing an egomaniac video game studio director Ian Grimm.

“Like most of the creative directors I’ve met, he has the ego the size of a city bus,” McElhenney said on stage. “I’m going to get my ass kicked backed stage because there are lot of creative directors here.”
